Established in the 1950s, Waimea Sawmillers remains a family owned company and is based in Nelson, New Zealand. The office and mill site is located 15 minutes from the CBD in Beatty Street, Tahunanui.
Over the years Waimea has developed a wide range of innovative solid and engineered timber products for both the residential and commercial sectors. Waimea currently supplies markets in Asia, the Pacific, Australia and New Zealand.
Waimea have a strong in-house management team with a vast array of experience at the highest level. We maintain strong relationships with local and overseas suppliers and our customers.
Waimea Sawmillers Ltd is one of the main trading operations of Gibbons Holding Ltd. which has operations across a number of sectors: construction, property development and investment, sawmilling and forestry. The GHL executive management team is comprised of: Roger Gibbons, Governing Director Scott Gibbons, Managing Director Kent Gibbons, General Manager Waimea Sawmillers Ltd Ray Muollo, CEO/Financial Controller.
